This firmware stores profiles in a 256-sector ring but reads them back without wrapping, so the newest dives may be only partly (or not) readable and the oldest profiles were overwritten. Dives without a profile are still kept with date, duration, max depth and temperature.

In Google Cloud Console → APIs & Services → Credentials, the client must allow this exact address under Authorized JavaScript origins, and the Google Drive API must be enabled:

What gets synced

  • Logbook – every dive header and depth profile (logbook.json). Dives from several phones are merged; the most complete copy of a dive wins.
  • Your dive notes – site, notes and star rating (annotations.json). The newest edit wins.
  • Exports – Subsurface XML and CSV, uploaded on request.

The app only requests access to files it creates itself (the “drive.file” permission) – it cannot see anything else in your Drive. Device settings are never synced.

Adam's Deepblu Cosmiq+ App – created by Adam. It runs entirely in your browser: nothing is sent anywhere except the Bluetooth link to your watch and, only if you connect it, your own Google Drive.

The reverse-engineered Bluetooth protocol and logbook reader come from the open-source cosmiq5-web project (MIT licence, see the LICENSE file).
